Komar Research Center

On Tuesday, December 20th, 2016, Komar Research Center organized a public seminar (in Kurdish) for Mr. Husam Barziniji, the General Director of Kurdistan Economic Development Organisation in Kurdistan. Mr. Barzinji has presented his experience as a businessman and shed light on the small business developments in Kurdistan Region. He has also demonstrated small businesses features before and after the invasion of Iraq in 2003.
Students and faculty members attended the seminar in large number. Business students, some with their own businesses, have discussed ways to develop their business further in the current financial situation in Kurdistan. Mr Barzinji advised these business owners on the mechanisms to stay in business.

Government support and obstacles to start small business in Kurdistan
Participants were satisfied with the quality of the seminar and discussion followed.
